* ENCOURAGING THE PRACTICE, UNDERSTANDING AND ENJOYMENT OF GARDENING AND HORTICULTURE *
* FOR ANYONE WHO LOVES GARDENS, ALLOTMENTS AND PLANTS *
Kingston Horticultural Society (KHS), founded over 75 years ago, brings together local gardeners and allotment holders for mutual advice and support. With more than 400 members it is a thriving social community, with tea and coffee mornings at the allotments, social events and outings, seasonal plant sales, and of course the annual show.
The KHS Shops at Park Road and Wolsey Drive Allotments provide a range of gardening and allotment supplies, including tools, seeds, pots, canes, and a great range of composts.
ACTIVITIES
KHS is a local community group based at Park Road allotments.

We gather on Wednesday and Sunday mornings to work in our potting shed and greenhouse, growing plants from seed & cuttings.
Anyone is welcome to come along to help, to learn, or just to chat over tea and coffee (listen for the tea bell at 11am).
Events
KHS is an active and social group, run entirely by volunteers.
During the year we hold many events including:
* Horticulture talks
* Social events
* Outings
* Spring plant sale
* Annual show
(vegetables, flowers, crafts…)
