'Kingston Characters' - Exhibition at The Rose

Ruth Blackford - a creative member of KHS, with an allotment at Parkfields, is a talented artist - and you can see her work in an exhibition entitled 'Kingston Characters' at The Rose Theatre in January. The exhibition consists of around 40 large scale textile portraits of local people, including our very own Ron Cook - seen here with his portrait. The work is made of fabric and uses stitching to capture detail.
